Remove T1-11 siding, repair sheathing, Tyvek DrainWrap, James Hardie HardiePlank in Evening Blue, new PVC trim, soffit replacement.
The original T1-11 plywood siding on this Crossroads split-level was delaminating and allowing moisture behind the walls. We stripped all existing siding, repaired sections of damaged sheathing, installed Tyvek DrainWrap for proper moisture management, and clad the entire home in James Hardie HardiePlank lap siding. The homeowner chose Evening Blue, a deep navy color that pairs beautifully with the new white PVC trim. The complete transformation turned this dated 1970s split-level into a sharp, modern-looking home.
