Project Scope
Remove three old acrylic bubble skylights, enlarge openings, install VELUX FS fixed skylights with Low-E glass, new flashing kits, patch and reshingle around each skylight.
The three original acrylic bubble skylights on this Edmonds Bowl mid-century home were yellowed, cracked, and leaked during heavy rain. We removed all three and replaced them with modern VELUX fixed skylights featuring Low-E glass for better insulation and UV protection. Each opening was properly flashed with VELUX’s integrated flashing kit and the surrounding shingles were patched to create a watertight seal. The new skylights dramatically improved both light quality and energy efficiency.
