Remove deteriorated cedar siding, install Tyvek house wrap, James Hardie HardiePlank lap siding in Arctic White, new window trim, corner boards, soffit and fascia.
The original cedar lap siding on this Education Hill colonial was showing extensive rot along the bottom courses and around several windows after 30 years of PNW moisture exposure. The homeowner chose James Hardie fiber cement siding for its durability and low maintenance. We removed all existing siding, repaired the underlying sheathing where needed, installed Tyvek house wrap, and clad the entire home in HardiePlank lap siding with new PVC trim boards around all windows and corners. The transformation is dramatic, and the home looks brand new.
