Years of shade from mature Douglas fir trees had left this Boulevard Park home’s composition shingle roof covered in thick moss. Left untreated, the moss would lift shingle edges and accelerate deterioration. We carefully removed all moss using low-pressure washing to avoid damaging the shingle granules, cleared all debris from valleys and gutters, and installed zinc strips along the ridge line to prevent moss regrowth. The homeowner enrolled in our annual maintenance plan to keep the roof clean and extend its remaining lifespan.
