Full tear-off of cedar shake, extensive deck repair (6 sheets replaced), ice-and-water shield at eaves and valleys, CertainTeed Landmark shingles in Weathered Wood, custom-fabricated copper valley flashing.

This 1920s Craftsman bungalow in North Everett’s historic Port Gardner neighborhood still had its second layer of roofing, composition shingles over the original cedar shake. We carefully removed both layers, revealing significant deck damage from decades of moisture intrusion. After replacing six sheets of sheathing, we installed CertainTeed Landmark shingles in Weathered Wood, a color that complements the home’s historic character. Custom copper valley flashing adds durability and period-appropriate detail.
