Complete EPDM tear-off, polyiso insulation to R-30, 60-mil TPO membrane with mechanical attachment, new roof drains, overflow scuppers, 15-year warranty.
This three-story Columbia City mixed-use building had a failing EPDM rubber roof that was ponding water and leaking into the top-floor apartments. We performed a complete tear-off, upgraded insulation to meet current energy code, and installed a 60-mil TPO membrane with mechanical attachment suited to the building’s steel deck. New internal roof drains and overflow scuppers ensure proper drainage even during the heaviest PNW rainstorms. All work was completed with zero disruption to the ground-floor retail tenants.
